Warsaw Film School Establishes Collaboration with Agatha Dominik
Warsaw Film School is proud to announce its collaboration with renowned screenwriter and producer Agatha Dominik. An experienced film creator and a graduate of the Theatre Studies Department at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw, Dominik will bring her extensive international experience gained in Hollywood and Europe to the institution.
Agatha Dominik began her career in Hollywood as a literary agent and later worked as a Story Editor and Creative Executive at TriStar/Columbia. She also served as Vice President of Production at Dennis Quaid’s company, where she produced the feature film Hideaway, based on Dean Koontz’s bestselling novel.
As a screenwriter, she has written over 60 scripts for major film studios such as Warner Bros., DreamWorks, Paramount, Universal, Fox 2000, Miramax, The Mark Gordon Co., A&E Network, and RAI Television. She is the author of several limited series, including the Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated Human Trafficking, featuring Donald Sutherland, Mira Sorvino, and Robert Carlyle.
She has collaborated with acclaimed directors such as Agnieszka Holland, Christian Duguay, and Roland Joffé. Her teaching experience includes conducting film workshops in Europe and lecturing in master’s programs at EICAR – The International Film & Television School in Paris, and most recently at the School of Filmmaking at UNCSA – University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Agatha Dominik is a member of prestigious industry organizations, including the Writers Guild of America, Writers Guild of Canada, and The Italian Society of Authors and Publishers. She is represented in the U.S. by Gersh Agency and in Poland by ZA Agencja.
