Third Anniversary. Unity in the Face of Threat.
On February 24, on the third anniversary of Ukraine's defense against the Russian invasion, a special screening of the film People took place at Kino Wisła, organized by the distributor Mówi Serwis.
The event, which served as a moment of reflection on the ongoing conflict beyond our eastern border, was attended by the film's creators—director Maciej Ślesicki, actors Cezary Pazura and Oksana Cherkashyna; Hanna Wróblewska, Poland's Minister of Culture and National Heritage; Ukraine’s Deputy Ambassador, Roman Szepeliak; and First Secretary of the Embassy, Larysa Sydorenko. Representatives from the cultural sector also took part, including Maciej Dydo, Director of the Copyright and Film Department at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage; Grzegorz Łoszewski, President of the Polish Filmmakers Association; Andrzej Seweryn; Ilona Łepkowska and Piotr Bielecki; Agnieszka Odorowicz (Polsat Plus); Beata Bierońska-Lach, Director of the Ukraine! Film Festival; Sylwester Adamski (Heliograf); and Jacek Żakowski. Representatives of the Żoliborz District Office and all those who stand in solidarity with Ukraine in these challenging times were also present.
